Loving an Insecure Person

Hey guys! How’s it going at your end? Trust that you’re doing the best you can. Hang in there, it’ll all be great in the end.
I had planned a different topic to share with you today but this just popped into my head for some reason, and I really don’t know what brought it up. As I like to go with my heart sometimes, let’s talk about this then, shall we?

Breathe and Be Happy

Hey guys, how have you all been? I honestly hope good. It's been tough lately for the majority but I'm glad to see that we're all still pushing on. Really, that's all we could ask for.
Anyway, I didn't really plan on a "real" post per say. I came here to just ramble ( like that's not all I do usually), because I've missed you, So Much.
I just realized recently how far the year has gone, seriously this year was FAST! I think I'm happy it was actually. I have had a series of unfortunate incidents happen to me this year and I've got to admit, they shook me. Looking at me, you may never know but honestly they did, then again, I'm a believer in God so I always end up okay, always. These things happen and you start to focus on all the negatives, your smile starts to fade and make occasional appearances. You forget the little things and the big things that you have going on, because we are so spoilt. Yes you know people have been through worse but that's them, this is you and you shouldn't have certain things happening to you, because you are? You! Well, hate to break it to you but you WILL continue to have a fair share of fortunate and unfortunate incidents coming your way - facts of life. Pray all you want, this is truth. Some things just have to happen and many times we come out humbled and with a better perspective generally. Sometimes, we are too consumed in our world that the we forget there are people out there who need us, people we can help without having to do so much. When we go through the fire and survive it, for the wise ones, we open our eyes and our hearts and we are kinder and more loving and more forgiving and tolerating of people. You come out a better You.

The Little Things Count

Hello world! How have you been? I've been away for too long and I won't even bother trying to give any excuse. Lord knows I've missed you and you're always on my mind and today I was determined to come here to tell you that and to share something, anything with you. Earlier at church today, this topic came to mind and I decided to share with my darlings; You.

Love and Marriage

Hey guys, how are we doing? My days have been hot and cold, almost fell ill or maybe did a little but I'm good now. Anyway, it's been a while I just talked and I've been wanting to for a while now, but you know how these things are now, right? I'm here now, though :D. I ended last year marrying a cousin out and started this year marrying a friend out ( it sounds like I'm the one collecting the bride price, right? lol). Yeah, so the whole relationship and marriage topic started flowing around again for some time,  you  know the usual questions from every corner, those with the right to ask and those who have no business asking, "When are we coming for your own oh?", "| So, when are we meeting him now?" and the likes. Well, I think all of that inspired me to talk my talk today, so come with me and flow through my mind.

Money Weirdness

picture from http://naijas.com/

Hey guys, how was your weekend? I hope you were all able to rest well. Let's start the week with a little money talk, shall we? First, let's go back to those good old days when you had no care in the world, or at least, no serious care. Do you remember? Do you remember when you thought 5 bucks could buy everything you wanted in the world? My youngest nephew was recently given a cash gift for coming out top of his class. First, he was a little confused, given that he was expecting a toy or even candy and then it seemed like realization dawned on him that he finally had money (he's 4); something he was told too often wasn't available when he made silly requests. His dad came in a few minutes later and he ran to him showing him his cash gift "daddy daddy uncle gave me money, now I can buy anything I want". Awwh, how naive right? Sometimes, that's just bliss. The innocence of a child is adorably pure and peaceful.

Cardiovascular Exercises

picture from http://www.allworkoutroutines.com/

Hello world! How are you all doing at your various parts of the earth? I hope you're doing great. Speaking of which, today I would be talking about feeling great. Specifically, I want to share with us the deal about cardio exercises; what they are, why they are important and some exercises that fit into this category. I'm sure many of us have heard a lot about cardiovascular exercises, but it hit me recently that we may not know what it really is or why we should be doing it. Many will connect it with the heart from the name and think it is for people with heart issues or history of heart issues, I'm sorry to burst your bubble if you fall in that category. Cardiovascular exercises are very important for us all. I'll tell you why.

Does Your Job Define You?

picture from withanopenheart.org

Hi guys, today I want to ask you two main questions, ok, three actually; 1. How are you darlings? Hope you’re great. 2. Does your job define you? 3. Is it a good or a bad thing if it does?

Are you one of those people who find yourself needing to always mention that you are a doctor, lawyer, teacher, farmer, banker… within two seconds of a conversation? Do you feel it is necessary in validating who you are to the person and or to yourself? Let’s take it in different perspectives; say, you do absolutely love your job; it’s all you've ever dreamed of becoming and can’t think of doing or succeeding in anything else. You are at peace with this job and the only change in your career would be advancement or relocation, not an actual change in job per say. In this case, I can honestly expect that, who you are would definitely be linked with your job, because truthfully, it is part of who you are and not just what you do-even though you should have a life outside your work.  Now, second scene; say you are a “successful” banker/doctor or whatever, you are great at your job and get good pay and nonmaterial incentives as well but you absolutely hate your job for reasons best known to you. Would you still spurt out your job within 2 seconds of a discussion? If you do, would it be because you don’t find anything else interesting about yourself or you think that’s the information the person would like to know or you feel that gives you “points” in the person’s mental judgment book?
