Hey guys, how are you doing? It feels like it's been forever. I hope you all have been good. I've been sane and insane at different points which brings me to our talk today. You see, I don't know if this applies to everyone but I guess majority of us (workers/ business people and the sort) will feel me on this. Many of us work 9hours a day 5-6 days a week every month of every year, for some of us it gets worse with the MAD TRAFFIC and we barely have time to look up at what's really going on in our lives. You are so consumed with work you have forgotten what the plan was. Take a deep breath and just RELAX for a moment.

Happy thanksgiving everyone! How are you doing? It's thanksgiving season again and I believe you have many reasons to be thankful. I know I do and that's why I'm here today; to share some of the reasons why I'm thankful. It's very usual to hear people say they don't have reasons to be thankful and I must say that this is very sad. First, because it is untrue and also because your negative attitude or your ingratitude hinders you from receiving more blessings. If you can't see and appreciate what you have right now, what use would it be to give you more? Always be grateful people, no matter what you're going through the fact remains that there are people who have it better and those who have it worse than you do. I'm not here to preach today, I'm here to count some of my blessings with you, so please, follow me :).

Work Hard and SMART

Hello everyone. I was reminded recently of the advice I got from a former boss. We were having a pre-appraisal, unfortunately my head of department called in sick and so I was there to represent him. We had been given a project and it was still in the inception stage so there was relatively nothing to show in terms of results, just work in progress, steps to success if you know what I mean. As other heads of department confidently defended their departments, giving strong results as back up, I sat there rehearsing my lines in my head. It finally got to my turn and after I gave information about all we had done and were doing and what we expect to do to gain results in due time, my boss said to me " I don't know what you people are doing in your department, you may be working hard, but you need to be working smart". In my head, I thought we were working smart but I wasn't ready for long talk so I nodded and appreciated the advice.
