Happy 2017 folks!

Happy 2017 my darlings! May you be truly blessed with happiness that lasts all year round and beyond! How are your vibes for the year, feeling anything yet? Many as always have been super excited that the year 2016 is over, I mean so many people complained about how tough the year was. I agree it was tough but I must confess it was better (not financially) than my 2015, so that's progress I'm thankful for. As those are hopeful, some are just waiting to see what the year brings and others are simply going on with life as always, you know the "last year and this year is just a day apart so it's just another week, just another year, no big deal" group of people. I'm curious, where do you belong?For me, I'm a mix of all three I guess but it is a big deal, seeing every new day IS a big deal I'll daily be grateful for.

The Motivation to Be More

Hello world. What's happening at your ends?

Today, let's talk about the motivation to be more. I shall attempt to view this from both the man and woman's stand point. Wish me luck, but most of all, teach me more in the comments box :*.

Ladies first right? Ok, first, let me clarify what I mean by "Be More". For many who have the privilege to dream of a future career from a young age, (I say "the privilege to dream" because some are not exposed enough to know there's more out there-not really an excuse though) there's usually this sense of direction or perception as to how their lives should go. Sometimes, luckily, the dream you choose as a kid is what you end up being and you feel fulfilled, yaay! for you, other times life happens and you get side kicked from every corner and lose course. In some cases, you don't lose course per say, you simply get delayed due to circumstances somewhat beyond your control. So, say, your dream was to be a pilot and so far all you have is an engineering degree (not aeronautics) and you need to go to aviation school which you can't really pay for at the moment, what do you do? Quit on your dream and continue your 8-5 job or save up and go for your aviation school (hoping time is still on your side, that is)?

The Marriage Ambition

Hello people. I didn't plan to talk about marriage today, but, today that has been the topic all around me. I'll give you a background summary of the marriage hits today. First, I read one of my favourite blogs-Tommyslav's Island where a woman's quest for love somehow led her into a troubled marriage, you should visit the site (if you don't already know it), she posts really interesting fictional stories weekly. The second was a real life discussion about a lady who has set up her wedding date with a man she met 5 months ago and the final was in church, we had a "Single and Fulfilled" sermon. 

I know many people have diverse views on marriage; what it is about, why it should be or why not, when and blah blah blah. I'll give my truth about the topic. Marriage is not a joking matter. It is a serious covenant between two people giving themselves to each other and meant to last forever. That being said, it is obvious that a matter like this should not be rushed into. Thinking about it, where are you rushing to? You go deh der tire!( Not tire in a bad way, hopefully). With all the love in the world between two people, they still encounter problems and struggles in their marriage-it happens and it's okay as long as their love and faith in their love can help them overcome the struggles. Now think of going through such struggles with a partner you barely know or someone you were pushed to marry for some silly reason. My dears, it's not a funny thing at all. Don't try it oh!
