My Love Story

Happy Easter! How is everyone doing? Trust you're making good use of the long weekend. I was thinking about this undeserving love of mine that I (so) comfortably swim in and I thought I should share my truest and most potent love story with you guys.

The Word of God Gives Peace!

Hi guys, how are we? How is the whole Val’s aftermath? I hope you all had fun and were genuinely happy because really, that’s all that matters and I hope that you’re not saving up all your love for next year again because love is an every second event my darlings. Anyway, speaking on love, today I’d like to talk about the greatest of all; God’s love and specifically His Word.

Over the years, I’ve struggled through dark times and it seems to get more intense as I grow older. You realize you’re grown up and you’re practically accountable for yourself and all your actions. There’s no adult to call on or to blame because you’re supposedly adult enough to handle whatever the situation is. People expect you to know it all and when you fail, you’re scolded and judged by the world, including those who know you and those who don’t. Yes, it sucks but it is life and we can’t control what people think nor can we tell them how to react to things. However, we can talk to one who understands and when we can’t find the words to spill out our hurt, we can simply listen to His pure love as it heals our broken hearts.

My God & Me

Hi guys! How are y'all doing?
I mentioned a few new changes to the blog. Yes, the look and now, a new very important section; My God and me.

I’ve been meaning to add this section for quite a while now but for some unknown reason(s), I’ve delayed for way too long. I’m here now and glad to be alive to do this so hey, welcome to my very imperfect journey as a Christian.

This section will cover my walk with God; I’ll be sharing things I learn, testimonies of how God has saved me and keeps saving me and others, hope in this dark world we live in, struggles, etc.  I hope you stick around and most importantly, I hope somewhere, somehow, the words here would save someone.

Always and forever, love and light to you and yours.

Our Churches Today

picture from http://www.issacharinitiative.org/

Greetings loved ones. How are we all doing? Today, I want to talk about something that has been bothering me personally for a while now which is affecting the world as a whole. A few years ago, I hated going to church. It seemed like hard work to me. Sometimes when I do summon energy to go, it is either to seek an avenue to show off a new dress or shoe or just to tick the date on the calendar to show that I went to church at least once in 3 months, maybe. Sometimes I would enjoy the service so much and feel like I've been visited by the angels. Many times, I would find something wrong with the preaching and from that moment in the service, I would zone out. I could get ticked off by wrong grammar or an usher making me sit where I do not want to or a pastor making a mistake in a Bible story or saying something that is unethical is sin. It could be anything really, even as silly as pastor wearing an over-sized suit. This made it easy for me to avoid church for very long periods, after all I had my Bible, I can read and so could seek God myself right?
